Every safety feature on CRUZIER is free, on every plan, forever. We will never put blocking, reporting, or location privacy behind a subscription.
What we do
We screen content before it appears
Photos are screened automatically before they show up anywhere on the service. Anything flagged goes to a trained human reviewer before it goes live.
We answer reports within 24 hours
Every profile and every conversation has a report control with eight categories. We review every report within 24 hours, and faster for threats to someone's safety.
We verify people, not backgrounds
Identity and fresh selfie checks confirm a person matches their photos. Be clear about what that does and does not mean: it reduces fake and AI generated profiles. It is not a criminal background check, and we do not run one.
Tools you control

| Safety session | Tell a trusted contact where you are going and when you expect to be done. |
| Timed check in | If you do not check in by the time you set, your trusted contact is notified. |
| Video Hello | Mutual, 30 seconds, and never recorded. A quick way to confirm someone is who they say before you meet. |
| App lock | Face ID keeps your conversations private if someone else picks up your phone. |
| Private albums | Access is granted per person and can be revoked at any time. |
Meeting someone
- Use Video Hello first. Thirty seconds tells you a lot.
- Meet in public the first time, and get yourself there and back.
- Start a safety session so someone you trust knows where you are.
- Keep the conversation on CRUZIER until you trust them. Moving to another app removes our ability to help.
- Nobody is owed anything because you agreed to meet. You can leave at any point, for any reason.
Common scams
- Anyone who moves fast to another app, then asks for money, gift cards, or crypto.
- Anyone who asks for explicit photos and then threatens to send them to your contacts. This is sextortion. Do not pay. Report it to us and to law enforcement.
- Anyone who sends you a link to "verify" yourself on another site.
- Anyone pressuring you to share your health status, address, or workplace early.
Health information
Health details on CRUZIER are self reported and are not verified by us. Treat them as conversation, not as fact, and make your own decisions about testing and prevention. Using someone's health status against them violates our Community Standard.
